Paul, Apostle of Christ tells the story of two men. Luke (Jim Caviezel) is a friend and physician who risks his life every time he enters Rome to visit Paul (James Faulkner), who is held captive in Emperor Nero's worst prison cell. Before Paul is executed, Luke is compelled to write one more book that covers the beginnings of the Way and the dawning of what will come to be known as the church.
