On a parched future Earth, an evil oligarchy has taken control of the planet's remaining water, and separates children from their parents for retraining in slave labor camps. A small band of kids come upon an extraterrestrial object that may be the sign of their deliverance...and must run to keep it out of the grasp of the ruling elite.
